Westchester Federal Credit Union was established in 1955 as the White Plains Long Lines Federal Credit Union serving employees in the long distance telephone industry. In 1983, the name was changed to the AT&T White Plains Federal Credit Union. Along with the name change came changes in services from simple savings and loans to share drafts (checking), certificates of deposit, mortgages, Visa cards and more. On April 1, 2005, we were granted a community charter enabling us to service all community members who live, work, go to school or worship within our designated area. Our name changed once again to Westchester Federal Credit Union to reflect this new membership.

Throughout our 50 plus years, we have prided ourselves on serving our members in the best way possible by offering great savings and loan rates coupled with personal service.

We look forward to continuing this credit union tradition in the future.
