Little Valley, New York saw the opening of its first bank over a hundred years ago, in 1890. The Crissy and Crissy Bank was named after its founder: E.B. Crissy and his son, Harlow.

The Crissy's pioneered the ideals of community banking in this area as energetic civic-minded leaders in Cattaraugus County. The bank supported the successful Salamanca and Little Valley Electric Railway, bought the first equipment for the town fire company, and set the foundation for successful community banking in this area.

At the turn of the century, the Crissy and Crissy Bank was bought by a group of local investors, and on January 2, 1902, the newly chartered Cattaraugus County Bank (CCB) opened it's doors to the public. Since 1902, CCB has grown to be a nine branch full-service bank; servicing all of the Southern Tier of Western New York through the leadership of our seven Presidents and all of our dedicated employees. From the modest beginnings of 1902 through today, CCB has maintained an unprecedented record of fiscal integrity and sound financial growth.

CCB is strong and growing, being well-positioned to continue providing its unique brand of community banking services into the 21st Century!
